James Harden made headlines on Sunday morning after it was revealed that he hasn't practiced with the Houston Rockets yet due to COVID-19 reasons while also being seen partying in Las Vegas.

Amid all the videos and rumors floating around, Harden posted a cryptic emoji to his Instagram on Sunday.

With preseason beginning next week, teams are beginning to hold practices for the upcoming season. However, Harden hasn't been present with the Rockets in what the team is describing as COVID-19 protocols.

Despite the team's explanation, there were videos that surfaced of Harden possibly partying in Las Vegas over the weekend. Given that, fans are assuming that the All-Star shooting guard is missing practice due to taking part in activities not related to basketball.

Of course, the Rockets are entering a new regime with new head coach Stephen Silas. Silas replaces Mike D'Antoni, who was able to lead Houston to multiple playoff appearances during his tenure.

At the same time, the Rockets have traded Russell Westbrook to the Washington Wizards for John Wall. Wall gives Harden a new teammate to work with this season in an attempt to advance further in the postseason.

It's well known what James Harden loves to attend parties and make appearances in the strip clubs of the cities in which he's playing. But with the COVID-19 pandemic still going on, the NBA will be disappointed to see one of their stars already putting people at risk off of the court, if it's proven to be true that Harden did in fact party this weekend.

Nevertheless, Harden is leaving everyone to guess what his emoji on Instagram means as the Rockets wait for him to show up for practices.
