Houston Rockets star John Wall had previously agreed to sit out the season as the team finds a suitable trade partner for him. But recently, Wall spoke to GM Raphael Stone about playing for the franchise again, despite their desire to head in a different direction with a young core headlined Jalen Green, Kevin Porter Jr., and Christian Wood.

As Wall continues to figure out when he'll be back on the floor, the Rockets veteran sent a clear message on how he really feels about this whole situation:

The caption and hashtags say it all. Wall is ready to suit up and ball out. It's totally understandable what the Rockets are doing as they rebuild, but to have a player of his caliber sitting on the bench seems foolish. Why not have him play while another destination is found? After all, Wall is a five-time All-Star and brings tons of experience to the table. He can help mentor the young guns.

The only issue is that Wall would like to start, but the Rockets aren't guaranteeing it. They're looking to bring him off the bench, which is a role the 31-year-old has never been in. To be fair, it would be very difficult for Wall to accept the fact that he'd be a second unit player for a team that has only won two games this season. You can't blame him for wanting to get big minutes because we all know Wall would make them better.

It will be interesting to see what happens here.
