In a game where his Houston Rockets teammate James Harden surpassed Paul Pierce for eighth all-time in career 3-pointers made, former NBA MVP point guard Russell Westbrook produced his own thunderous highlight.

Against the Orlando Magic, Westbrook threw down a transition slam dunk with a courtesy headbutt before getting back on defense.

Westbrook trails only Harden in leading the Rockets in scoring this year, averaging 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game entering Friday's showdown.

Many believed before the 2019-20 season that Harden and Westbrook would be an awkward fit due to the propensity of the Rockets to throw up a ton of 3-pointers each game. Moreover, Harden's isolation tendency clashes with Westbrook who is used to having the ball in his hands.

Nevertheless, the Rockets are in good shape at the moment, with their record at 16-8 before their game against the Magic.
