Roman Reigns is cementing himself as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. He has hit the one-year mark as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and has held the Universal Championship for more than 945 days now. Reigns hasn't been pinned since December 2019, and it seems it will stay that way for a while longer.

Reigns is on one of the most historic championship runs in WWE history. Since returning to WWE at SummerSlam in 2020, he has been in a league of his own. In fact, he's been on a planet of his own. Actually, he's been in a universe of his own. No superstar on the roster is on the same level as Reigns right now. We've seen 14 superstars step up to him and fail to dethrone the Tribal Chief. He's defeated legends like John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Rey Mysterio, Goldberg, Edge, and Daniel Bryan. He's also defeated some of the best wrestlers in the world today, such as Cesaro, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre and now Cody Rhodes.

The run he's on now has cemented Roman Reigns as an all-time great, but he's been dominating WWE for over 10 years. Reigns is a four-time WWE Champion, two-time Universal Champion, former Intercontinental, United States, and Tag Team Champion Champion, the 2015 Royal Rumble winner, and has been in the main event of seven WrestleManias. Not only that, but he is the longest-reigning Universal Champion of all time. Say what you want about that championship, but he has single-handedly made people care about that championship. It's gotten a bad rep since it was introduced in 2016, but Reigns has turned it into the most valuable title in WWE.

You can't deny Roman Reigns' greatness. He burst onto the scene in 2012 as a member of The Shield alongside Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Many would argue that The Shield is the greatest faction in WWE history. After they split in 2014, Reigns had a rocky road to the top. To no fault of his own, WWE pushed Reigns down fans' throats. WWE desperately wanted Reigns to be the next top guy in the company, although fans rejected him. WWE never allowed Reigns to naturally become the biggest star in the company. Instead, they strapped a rocket to him and never looked back despite all the backlash they received.

The worst thing WWE ever did to Roman Reigns was not turning him heel when they had the chance. They could've had him turn heel after winning the 2015 Royal Rumble match, and they definitely could've had him turn heel after defeating The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Instead, they stuck to their plans and kept him as a babyface, which he never seemed comfortable being. Despite all this, Reigns still accomplished more than most superstars could dream of during that time.

Once he returned to WWE in 2020 as the Tribal Chief, the rest was history. Reigns won the Universal Championship, the title he technically never lost, a week after returning and hasn't looked back since. He has been the centerpiece of the greatest story WWE has told in decades and possibly ever. He is the most relevant wrestler on the planet today and is as box office as they come. Love or hate him, fans tune into Raw or Smackdown every time he's on television. Fans may criticize his part-time schedule, but that makes his appearances feel more valuable and must-see television. I know whenever Roman Reigns is on TV, I'm tuning in.

For years, Roman Reigns has said that he's in God mode, and honestly, he's not wrong. What we are witnessing truly is greatness on a different level. We haven't seen a superstar feel as important as Roman Reigns in a long time. The last WWE superstar who had this level of popularity was John Cena. I hate comparing the two, but Roman Reigns is this generation's John Cena. It's indisputable how much of an impact Roman Reigns is leaving in this business and is still adding to it.

Roman Reigns' aura is undeniable. He looks like a megastar. He sounds like a megastar. Roman Reigns is the megastar. That's why I believe Roman Reigns is a top-5 WWE superstar of all time. I'm not talking about one specific area of wrestling. As a character, a performer, someone who could sell tickets, and someone that has been the face of the company for as long as he has, he's up there with some of the greatest superstars ever.

If you look at what Roman Reigns has done in the last seven to 10 years and what he has done over the last 900-plus days, it's undeniable that Roman Reigns is leaving an impact on WWE unlike any other superstar. Ten to 20 years from now we're going to look back and say this was the greatest run we have seen in 30, 40, maybe even 50 years. He's accomplished more in the last three years or so than what some wrestlers on fans' Mount Rushmore have achieved throughout their careers.

Roman Reigns is untouchable and has further cemented himself as one of the greatest WWE superstars after defeating Cody Rhodes. When fans think his championship reign is ending, he finds a way to continue his historic run. He may skate by with the help of the Bloodline, but that's how heel champions operate. Heels have always won by cheating or with the help of others.

Wrestling is subjective, and many fans may disagree with this statement, but I genuinely believe Roman Reigns is a top-5 WWE superstar of all time. It takes a lot to be considered an all-time great, but Reigns has done plenty to put himself in that category.

I'm excited to see what WWE has planned for Roman Reigns next because this championship run isn't ending anytime soon. It may not be long before people begin to agree with my statement.
