New Orleans Saints star quarterback Drew Brees has already made his mark on the NFL record books many times over in his illustrious career.

Brees can now add another impressive mark to his Hall of Fame resume as he passed former Green Bay Packers great Brett Favre for the all-time mark in career completions in league history during Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The 39-year-old has been one of the league's most productive quarterbacks putting up highly productive seasons since joining the Saints back in 2006 that have put him on this historic pass to be able to secure the all-time completion mark. Brees has established himself as one of the premier players at his position that has tallied 12 straight seasons with more than 4,000 yards and 25 touchdown passes, which he has shown any notable drop off in his performance on the field despite being in the latter stage of his career.

In fact, he has stepped it up a notch this year with more of the onus back on him to carry the offense with his arm as he posted 685 passing yards while completing 81.3 percent of his passes with five touchdowns to no interceptions and holding a 123.0 passer rating in the first two games of the campaign. He has shown the unique ability to be the driving force of the offense behind his arm with much ease in his 18th year.

He has proven to be an ageless wonder that should be able to further add to his already impressive resume with the all-time passing mark within reach as it's expected that he will hit that point in Week 5 on Monday night against the Washington Redskins. Brees is currently trailing both Favre and Peyton Manning on that all-time list. He also third for career touchdown passes also trailing the same duo that could see him test for the top overall over the next two seasons.
