New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is one of the best to ever play in the NFL and he made that clear with a record-breaking performance on Monday Night Football against the Indianapolis Colts.

Not only did Brees break the NFL all-time record for passing touchdowns that was held by Peyton Manning, he also broke another league record. He set the all-time record for completion percentage in a single game at 96.7 percent. That performance won't be forgotten anytime soon.

As the tweet noted, Brees completed 29 of his 30 pass attempts for 307 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions. That performance came in a massive blowout win over the Colts. Brees is breaking records left and right and deserves the massive amount of praise that he has received from around the league.

Obviously, personal records are something that Brees will hold very close when everything is said and done. However, he has his eyes set on something even bigger. The Saints are currently viewed as one of the top contenders to win the Super Bowl this season.

Imagine setting both of these records and then leading the Saints to a Super Bowl run.

All of that being said, Brees is entering the final chapter of his NFL career. He hasn't shown any major signs of slowing down, but we should all be enjoying every second that we get to watch him play. Brees and the Saints could not be feeling any better about the way this game went.
