Of course, it happened in Las Vegas. New Orleans Saints star Alvin Kamara was arrested by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on Sunday night for alleged battery.

The attack reportedly happened in a nightclub. The 26-year-old Kamara is in Sin City to play in the Pro Bowl, which happened just hours before his arrest.

Twitter swiftly exploded after learning of the incident with the Saints running back.

Of course, some couldn't help but make jokes on Kamara, who's being rumored to be traded by the Saints this offseason. His latest gaffe certainly doesn't help his case.

There were those who compared Kamara to free agent wide receiver Henry Ruggs who was charged last year for driving under the influence resulting in death and reckless driving in Las Vegas. The former Las Vegas Raiders stud remains on house arrest pending his preliminary hearing in March.

Kamara's arrest is probably the last thing the Saints need right now, as they look to acquire new pieces after falling short of advancing to the NFL Playoffs. The two-time All-Pro member is among the top agendas of the squad in the offseason, and this development will only complicate things.

According to reports, Kamara is being held on $5,000 bail and his first scheduled court appearance is on Monday afternoon.
