New Orleans Pelicans rookie big man Zion Williamson is already a staple of the state of Louisiana, so it appears.

The former Duke Blue Devils standout and 2019 No. 1 overall pick continues to introduce himself to the community, and there is certainly no better way to do so than attending a New Orleans Saints game.

On Monday evening, Williamson could be seen on the field for the Saints' matchup against the Houston Texans.

Despite the fact that Williamson has yet to play an NBA game, the up-and-coming big man has had absolutely no trouble adjusting to life as a professional athlete. Not only that, but Williamson is fitting right in and seems pretty thrilled to call New Orleans his new home.

ā€œYou know itā€™s crazy,ā€ Williamson told reporters shortly after being drafted by the Pelicans, via NOLA.com. ā€œI was in my hotel room and I looked out the window and I was like, ā€˜This is my home.ā€™ I donā€™t know why I just got one of those gut feelings and it was all right, ā€˜This is my home. Iā€™m ready to stay here.ā€™ā€

Unfortunately for Williamson and company, the Saints didn't have a good start in the game. Even though the Saints are nearly unbeatable at home in New Orleans, the Texans lead, 14-3, at halftime on Monday Night Football.
