There are a lot of things New Orleans Saints fans can be thankful for. They are thankful Drew Brees is still putting up elite numbers. They are thankful Teddy Bridgewater is an amazing backup. They are thankful Taysom Hill just carved through the Atlanta Falcons defense and completed a long touchdown run.

The run happened at the end of the second quarter, and the Saints were eager to put points on the board. They telegraphed to the entire Mercedes-Benz Stadium crowd that they will be running the ball to waste the clock and make sure they end the play.

The Falcons clogged the middle, hoping to stop the run. However, this sort of magic happened:

This is inexcusable for the Falcons defense. However, it also showcases how slippery Hill is once given enough space to run. Thanks to this, Hill now has 30 yards and a rushing touchdown on a single carry.

The Saints now have a comfortable lead to start the second half, and fans are hoping that this lead will be maintained until the final whistle.
