The Philadelphia 76ers have even more to be thankful for after Tuesday night's NBA Draft Lottery, invoking a pick swap with the Sacramento Kings as a parting gift from their former general manager Sam Hinkie, who pulled off the deal in 2015.

After a legacy of consistent draft royalty, the Rights To Ricky Sanchez podcast raised a banner in his honor, explaining that Hinkie had the same championship dreams that Philly fans have had for the Sixers.

And what better way than to do it right outside of Geno's.

Sometimes you just have to Trust The Process, a motto that Sixers rookie Joel Embiid has fully embraced during his time within the organization.

The 76ers will now have drafted on the top three spots in four consecutive years — Embiid (No. 3 in 2014), Jahlil Okafor (No. 3 in 2015), and Ben Simmons (No. 1 in 2016).

Nerlens Noel was also drafted with the No. 6 overall pick in 2013.

In Hinkie We Trust.
