After a devastating 42-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams this past Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks have to win their final two games to possibly reach the postseason for the sixth straight year. Having linebackers K.J. Wright and Bobby Wagner active makes that tall task a little bit easier.

Luckily for Seattle, it appears both guys will take the field when the Seahawks take on the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday, per Pro Football Talk's Charean Williams. Wright cleared the NFL's concussion protocol and returned to practice today, and Wagner is progressing from a hamstring ailment.

Both injuries were suffered during Seattle's Week 14 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Wright missed this past weekend's game as a result, and while Wagner was able to play, he was a shell of his normal self while participating in 46 snaps.

Winning out doesn't guarantee Seattle a playoff spot. If the Seahawks take down the Cowboys and then beat the Arizona Cardinals in Week 17, there are three scenarios for them to get in:

  1. Los Angeles Rams lose out, giving Seattle the NFC West title
  2. New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, or Carolina Panthers lose out, paired with at least one Detroit Lions loss
  3. Both the Saints and Panthers lose out
