Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer had quite a bit of strong praise for quarterback Russell Wilson's throwing ability down the field.

Wilson has put together another excellent season for the Seahawks, as he's thrown for 3,296 yards and 34 touchdowns while posting a 112.7 quarterback rating.

And, while he has yet to find the end zone on the ground, Wilson has managed to 378 yards on the ground.

However, it's his tremendous strengths in heaving the deep ball with incredible accuracy that has Schottenheimer singing his praise.

When you consider that Seattle's offensive signal-caller has been around those players like Brett Favre, Drew Brees, and Philip Rivers, it's easy to see why this is such a strong compliment.

Wilson has been the driving force for the Seahawks for many years now, and even with Pete Carroll wanting to make the running game a top priority, the team has still been able to find efficiency through the air.

That's helped the Seahawks compile a 9-6 record to this point in the season, which has been another to clinch a playoff berth with one game left in the regular season.

And now, all Seattle needs to do is to beat the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in order to secure the No. 5 seed in the NFC.

If that happens, the Seahawks would hit the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the playoffs.

But, with a loss and a Vikings win, it would put Carroll's squad at the No. 6 spot.

With plenty to play for this weekend, it seems likely that Wilson will continue to be at the top of his game.
