In what began as just a few words from Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas, has resulted in a bit of a feud between he and Bobby Wagner.

“To be totally honest, I think the guys that played, you’ve got to give your hats off to Wags and a couple guys that played,” Thomas said, via Curtis Crabtree of PFT. “But my personal opinion, I don’t think they should have played. The backups would have did just as good. The injuries, Kam, Sherm, K.J., it definitely hurt today.”

That seems somewhat harmless. Earl Thomas was giving credit, but just said maybe guys who were somewhat injured like Bobby Wagner shouldn't have played.

Wagner was none-too-please.

Wagner wrote in a since-deleted tweet:

“E keep my name out yo mouth” and “stop being jealous of other people success,” and then followed up with another saying that he’ll hold himself accountable.

He did also mention that he hopes Thomas is still balling.

For what it is worth, and this cold mean a ton, the context of the two's friendship could be missing. Wagner could have simply been playing around with his tweet, realized people would take it the wrong way, and it is why he deleted it.

Either way, the Seahawks will likely be bombarded with questions about this.
