Seattle Seahawks star safety Jamal Adams got his wish and he is pumped about it.

After requesting a trade and making multiple critical remarks about the New York Jets organization and head coach Adam Gase, Adams was traded to the Seahawks over the summer, and now he is going to the playoffs for the first time in his four year career.

Following the Seahawks clinching a playoff berth with their 20-15 win over the Washington Football Team, Adams took to Twitter to show his elation.

Adams should be happy. Not only did he get out of New York and away from the dumpster fire that is the Jets organization, he was traded to a legitimate contender in the Seahawks. The Seahawks are considered one of the favorites to at least make the Super Bowl from the NFC.

The Jets, on the other hand, just won their first game of the season over the Los Angeles Rams, which also helped the Seahawks by putting them in sole possession of the lead in the NFC West. The Jets, by virtue of a win and tiebreakers, no longer possess the No. 1 pick. The Jaguars now hold the first pick should they continue to lose out. Missing out on Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence is bad, however, the Jets are not in a good place as an organization regardless.

Gase has been under fire the entire season for his management of the team, a trend that was in part started by Adams.

Jamal Adams is in a much better place now than he was last season, and he is showing the world how happy he is about it. Who can blame him?
