It's all love between new teammates Jamal Adams and Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Wilson was voted by his fellow athletes as the second best player in the NFL. With that, the newly acquired Adams showed nothing but love for his new teammate.

Adams took to Twitter to express his excitement for Wilson:

After seven years of being named in the said list, Wilson finally cracked the Top 10 in his eight year and landed at No.2.

Russell Wilson had an impressive 2019 season, during which he led the Seahawks to another playoff appearance. He earned his first All-Pro selection behind fellow quarterback Lamar Jackson, who landed at No. 1 in this year's Top 100 list. Wilson also threw a total of 4,110 passing yards for 31 touchdowns, which was good for his seventh Pro Bowl selection.

Jamal Adams, the newest member of the Seahawks, is no slouch himself. He landed at No. 27 after a career year with the New York Jets in 2019. Though he missed a couple of games due to an injury, the safety was still able to average 6.5 sacks and finish the season with 75 combined tackles.

After requesting for a trade in June, Adams was finally shipped to Seattle earlier this week to further boost the Seahawks' defensive line. Both Wilson and Adams were gleaming with excitement as soon as the news broke.

Adams and Wilson certainly can't wait to share the field as the 2020 NFL season fast approaches. It's also an exciting time to be a Seahawks fan with these two superstars leading the way.
