The Seattle Seahawks came away with an impressive victory against the Minnesota Vikings on primetime in Week 13. As a result, wide receiver Josh Gordon was able to keep his undefeated record in the 2019 NFL season.

Gordon went 8-0 with the Patriots to start the season. Unfortunately, he spent most of that time dealing with injuries and hauled in just 20 receptions for 287 yards and a touchdown before he was waived from injured reserve.

The Seahawks wasted no time in claiming him Gordon of waivers the following day. He then helped them hand the San Francisco 49ers their first loss of the year in a clutch NFC West showdown.

Although switching teams during the season is hardly an ideal situation for any player, Gordon was fortunate enough to be picked up by a Seattle team that is now riding a five-game winning streak heading into the final stretch of the year. More importantly, they have now successfully managed to clinch the top spot in the division thanks to their win over San Francisco.

Gordon has struggled to etch out a consistent role for himself in the Seahawks' passing game after hauling in a mere four receptions for 47 yards through his first three games. It is clearly taking him some time to get accustomed to the new scheme on offense while earning the trust of quarterback Russell Wilson.

Regardless, the coaching staff will want to put an emphasis on getting him going over these last four weeks of the regular season. Not only will it help to keep his perfect record intact, but providing another dynamic to the offense will pay huge dividends in the playoffs.
