Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks were one of the teams that had interest in signing Antonio Brown following his release from the Oakland Raiders. Brown ended up choosing the New England Patriots, but that didn't last long. New England made the decision to release Brown on Friday afternoon.

Some have brought up the idea that the Seahawks could revisit signing Brown. That does not seem to be something that Carroll is interested in at this point in time.

According to a quote shared by Joe Fann of NBC Sports Northwest, Carroll seemingly shut down the idea of signing Brown.

Brown could have a tough time finding a team to take another chance on him. He is in the middle of an ongoing investigation into sexual assault allegations by multiple women. In addition to those allegations, another report came out that Brown may have threatened one of his accusers via text message.

With everything seemingly going wrong for Brown's career and in his personal life, most teams will have no interest in bringing him in. The outside pressure from the media would be too much for most teams as well.

Adam Schefter of ESPN mentioned that Brown's release from the Patriots could be a “kiss of death” for his NFL career. Bill Belichick has always taken risks on troubled players, but even he has now turned his back on Brown. That doesn't bode well for the trouble star wide receiver.

Expect to hear a lot more news about Brown in the coming weeks. He may or may not find a new place to play football, but the Seahawks don't seem like a potential landing spot.
