Rashaad Penny hasn't gotten many opportunities with the Seattle Seahawks in 2019, but he's made the most of them on Sunday. With Seattle already having a seven-point lead, Penny broke loose for a 58-yard touchdown run versus the Philadelphia Eagles.

Before Sunday, Penny has only been given 36 carries for 167 yards and a touchdown. However, against the Eagles, Penny has nearly surpassed his season totals with 11 rushes for 124 yards and a score at the time of this article being written.

The Seahawks selected Penny with the 27th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. The initial plan was for the San Diego State product to eventually become the starting running back in Seattle.

Instead, Chris Carson became the starter and has held onto the job for the past two seasons. But with Carson's fumbling issues, Penny could begin to see an increase in touches in the offense moving forward.
