Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley have had several entertaining moments on TNT's Inside the NBA. The 2024 NBA Playoffs are causing the two hosts to have intense conversations, including a key one after the Minnesota Timberwolves' Game 3 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Shaq recalled some of his career playoff sweeps and clapped back at one of Barkley's comical jabs.

O'Neal and the Inside the NBA crew discussed how the Timberwolves were on the verge of getting swept. While on the topic, the former Los Angeles Lakers star claimed that he was probably the biggest-name superstar to get swept five times.

Of course, Charles Barkley could not let Shaq get away easy with the commentary.

“You've been swept five times?! How the hell you get swept and you in the Hall of Fame?” Barkley asked.

“Still got four more rings than you, baby!” Shaq replied, via NBA on TNT:

O'Neal won four NBA championships: three with the Lakers and one with the Miami Heat. Meanwhile, Barkley failed to acquire a title during his 16-year career. Thus, Shaq did not take any slander from the former Phoenix Suns star. The gang-up on Barkley did not end there.

Barkley took time to read some mean comments from his Instagram followers. Here are a few notable ones:

“You like the mascot for milk duds,” one fan said.

“Announcing NBA Playoffs does not require a lot of brain power,” another claimed.

The last Instagram user brought the house down with a hilarious comment on Barkley's diet:

“Barkley claims to be on a diet but we all know the only thing he is cutting in line is at Krispy Kreme.”

Charles Barkley is catching a lot of strays, but he is not having a harder time than the Timberwolves are.

Shaq makes reveals eye-opening concern on Karl-Anthony Towns, Timberwolves

O'Neal expressed his frustration with Karl-Anthony Town's Game 3 performance. Towns ended the night with 14 points but shot 0-for-8 on three-pointers. Shaq claimed that Towns needed to shift his focus to attacking the paint to get into rhythm.

Furthermore, Towns did not appear to be too upset with his performance after the game, which prompted an eye-opening take from Shaq.

“The fact that he's not upset that he played terrible shows me he's not ready yet. [If] Kobe missed the last shot, you better not say nothing to him on the plane. Penny Hardaway missed the last pass, you better not say nothing to him. I miss two to three free throws, you don't say nothing to me,” O'Neal said on the earlier Inside the NBA segment.

Towns is having a rough time getting his deep-range game going against the Mavericks. Nevertheless, if he works inside a bit more, he will open things up for himself and his teammates. Of course, the T-Wolves also need to find a way to slow down Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

Doncic and Irving combined for 33 points a piece on Sunday night. Minnesota possesses a premier perimeter defender in Jaden McDaniels, but it will require a stellar team effort to stop Dallas' guards. Will Karl-Anthony Towns and Minnesota take heed to Shaq's advice and steal a Game 4 win?
