Croatia is still unbeaten in the ongoing EuroBasket tournament following their win against Montenegro, 76-72.

Despite leading throughout the game, it was not a stroll in the park for the Croatians as their opponents were very pesky and even almost stole the match from them in the final minute, bringing down the lead to just a single point.

The good news for them is they have Philadelphia 76ers big man Dario Saric, who has emerged as their leader in the competition. He sealed the win for his home country by knocking down a clutch basket, before their team stepped up on the defensive end on the ensuing play, denying an open look for Montenegro to tie the game.

Dario Saric finished the game with 14 points, two rebounds, and two assists, and was the anchor of his team on the defensive end. He also showed that he is not afraid to take on the big shot, especially when the game is on the line. Bojan Bogdanovic top scored for the Croatians with 23 points and six rebounds.

Croatia is on top of Group C, together with powerhouse Spain, and is geared to make it to the next round. It appears that they will be a very tough team to beat, and with Saric proving his worth on the international stage, it will be very interesting to see how far their team will go in the competition, and if they can have a podium finish.
