Now we know that when someone criticizes Philadelphia 76ers stud Ben Simmons on Twitter, he has a tendency to get personal. This is exactly what happened when a certain Twitter user took a shot at Simmon's three-point shooting proficiency. The 22-year-old incoming sophomore clapped back by roasting the troll's facial hair.

A certain user that goes by the handle @KennyDoyle3 (who, as proven by his profile page, is an avid Boston Celtics fan) posted a clip of Simmons on the newly-released game NBA 2K19. The user trolled the Sixers star by trying to shoot a three-pointer using Simmons, but to no avail. @KennyDoyle3 even went as far as changing Simmons' name to a rather unsavory title.

Simmons could not help but clap back at the insults by retorting with his own cheeky dig on the user's facial hair. Unfortunately for Simmons, this is what trolls live for, and by responding to the hater, Simmons pretty much gave him his five seconds of fame.

As so profoundly pointed out by the troll, Simmons is as far as one can be from a three-point shooter. The former first overall pick played 81 games in his rookie campaign and logged a total of 2,732 minutes throughout the season. During this span, Simmons only took 11 attempts from beyond the three-point line (most of them coming in the form of last-second heaves) and made none of them.

This absolutely pales in comparison to teammate Joel Embiid's record of 66 makes out of 214 three-point attempts. And Embiid's a 7-foot center.

Nevertheless, his lack of proficiency from beyond the arc does not take away the fact the Simmons is an outstanding player. However, if the guard/forward has any intentions of taking his game to the next level, then adding a three-point shot is a definite must.
