The Philadelphia 76ers acquired Tobias Harris and Boban Marjanovic from the Los Angeles Clippers early on Wednesday morning.

Sixers' All-Star guard Ben Simmons took to Instagram to welcome his new teammates.

Harris and Marjanovic were dealt to Philly in a blockbuster trade that also sent Landry ShametWilson ChandlerMike Muscala, a 2020 first round pick, a 2021 unprotected first-rounder (via Miami) and two second-rounders.

The Sixers also received veteran forward Mike Scott as part of the exchange.

The 26-year-old Harris was the trade's main headliner, even more so now that the team has diligent plans to sign him long-term with Simmons, Jimmy Butler, and Joel Embiid to maintain a menacing big-4 for the future.

Harris, who is currently playing out the final year of his four-year, $64 million contract, is averaging a career-best 20.9 points (career-best), 7.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 43.4 percent from deep.

Marjanovic, 30, is currently averaging 6.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game, and will leap into the backup center role that the team desperately needed to fill behind Embiid.

As for Simmons, what has already been another exceptional year, now looks destined to improve.

Floor spacing shouldn't be an issue when these guys finally take the court together for the first time.

Philly currently has the fourth-best record in the East at 34-20.

With the roster upgrade, the organization believes it could be contending for a title this season.
