The Philadelphia 76ers held a press conference Tuesday afternoon to welcome the two newest members of the team. James Harden and Paul Millsap joined the Sixers in their blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday.

During the press conference, a media member asked Harden about the hamstring injury that has been affecting him recently. He reassured the public that it feels “really good,” and his conditioning is “great.”

Sixers beat writer Adam Aaronson tweeted Harden's responses Tuesday afternoon.

This is great news for Sixers fans. He missed five of his last seven games with Brooklyn, and was listed as out due to the hamstring injury. However, he was likely boycotting games more often than he was nursing an actual injury.

Originally, Sixers fans hoped that Harden would make his debut with Philadelphia Tuesday night in their home matchup against the Boston Celtics. Despite the positive update on Harden, he is not playing for his new team until after the All-Star Break. He is also sitting out of the 2022 NBA All-Star Game, and Jarrett Allen of the Cleveland Cavaliers will take his place.

Harden is ready to get to work as soon as possible and wants to bring a title to Philadelphia. “After the break, man, it's go time,” he said Tuesday afternoon.
