Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid's first signature sneaker with Under Armour has been revealed. The Sixers center signed a five-year deal with the shoe company in 2018.

Embiid will be wearing these new kicks when the Sixers face the Orlando Magic on Friday:

After signing the deal with Under Armour, Embiid talked about how there's a stereotype that centers can't sell shoes.

The Sixers big man seemingly welcomed that challenge by saying he's more than a low-post guy:

“There's a stereotype about big men that [we] can't sell shoes. When I look at myself, I'm not a big man; I'm a guard,” Joel Embiid said back in 2018, per ESPN.

“I can do everything on the basketball court. You can name it — pass, post up, shoot the ball, bring the ball up, being a playmaker. So I'm excited to break that stereotype. I can't wait to do so much more with Under Armour.”

Embiid is averaging 24.0 points, 11.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game on the season for the Sixers, who are in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Philadelphia has a record of 41-27 heading into Friday's game, which is just a half-game behind the Indiana Pacers.

Embiid will be in the spotlight even more moving forward down in Orlando now that All-Star point forward Ben Simmons is out indefinitely. There's a possibility Simmons could miss the first round of the playoffs, so Embiid has to be prepared to carry the load offensively from here on out.
