Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is the new owner of the Charlotte Hornets. Sorry, Mr. Michael Jordan.

No, Embiid doesn't own any ownership stake on the Hornets. But he might as well be called their bossman after he dominated the team again and keep his immaculate record against them intact.

The Sixers star put up 32 points, eight rebounds, four assists and one steal to lead Philly to a 110-106 win. The Hornets simply had no answer for him, as they were unable to stop him down low and instead gave him 19 free throw attempts.

In the process, Embiid extended his winning record against the Hornets to 13-0. Yes, that's right. Per Josh Schrager of NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Cameroonian big man has never lost to Charlotte in his career.

That's got to hurt for Michael Jordan and the Hornets. But hey, it just shows how much Joel Embiid loves playing against them.

For what it's worth, in their previous meeting on Sunday, Embiid exploded for 43 points. Unfortunately for LaMelo Ball and Co., they still have two meetings with the Sixers this 2021-22.

With the way things are going, the Hornets might be better off listing those games as losses. After all, if Embiid is made aware of his record versus Charlotte, he might be more than motivated to keep things that way.
