Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid will play in Saturday's Game 4 against the Brooklyn Nets:

Embiid missed the Sixers' 131-115 Game 3 victory on Thursday due to his nagging knee problems. He has been dealing with these issues since the All-Star break.

Embiid played in Games 1 and 2, but he only played 24 minutes in the Game 1 loss and 21 minutes in the Game 2 win. The center was much more effective in Game 2, going for 23 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 8-of-12 from the field. He was more aggressive attacking the basket as opposed to settling for long jumpers, but he clearly did lack his usual explosion and mobility.

The Sixers struggled without Embiid during the regular season, but they put forth a terrific performance in Game 3 without him. Ben Simmons had the finest playoff performance of his career with 31 points on 11-of-13 shooting to go along with nine assists, while Tobias Harris broke out with 29 points and 16 rebounds. JJ Redick added 26 points.

Philly will be looking to take a commanding 3-1 series victory over Brooklyn with a win on Saturday. The Sixers have effectively turned the tables after the surprising Game 1 result, and they should have confidence in winning Game 4, even if Joel Embiid isn't totally effective.
