Philadelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz has had a ton of criticisms during his young NBA career. After being taken with the first pick in the NBA draft, the expectations were high for what he could do for the Sixers.

Fultz missed most of the year with a mysterious injury that not many knew much about, and there are still a ton of questions surrounding the specifics. When he did come back, he struggled with his shot reportedly because of a case of the “yips.”

Fultz evidently understands all the hate that surrounds him and posted a picture on Instagram on Sunday night with the caption “(Insert Hate Here) #F2G”

Fultz has been working with a new shooting coach this offseason and he evidently has gotten over his case of the “yips.” Sixers coach Brett Brown has an optimism about how well he will play this year and thinks that the young point guard will have a banner year.

“I feel just so excited to see him play NBA basketball and show why he was the first player chosen in the NBA draft,” Brown said via the Philadelphia Inquirer. “And I have tremendous optimism and confidence that he’s going to have a hell of a year next year.”

Brown is also confident that Fultz will have confidence in his jump shot.

“He’s putting in work. That’s the first thing,” Brown said. “Then when I see him and I have other people see him, I have a gut feel that he feels good about himself, that he is confident, that he looks it when I’m with him. He feels and he looks confident.

Fultz better hope that this year will be much more productive, or a lot of fans would look back to this post and insert what he had asked for all along.
