Although the 2019-20 NBA season isn't here just yet, that doesn't mean you can't imagine opening night in the Association.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, that means rolling out the red carpet virtually with NBA 2K20.

The 2K Sports annual product was released and available to download for basketball enthusiasts on Friday, September 6th. To celebrate “2K Day,” the Sixers shared a video of opening night on Instagram (h/t Sixers Wire).

You can almost see it now — opening night at the Wells Fargo Center against East rivals Boston Celtics on Wednesday, October 23rd. Well, you can see everything except the actual gameplay.

In the video simulation, the Sixers display players arriving to the game in fashionable, yet pixelated, suits and the two teams' starting lineups readying themselves at halfcourt for tip-off. What happens next? You could either play it yourself or wait six weeks.

The projected starting lineup for Philly is point guard Ben Simmons, shooting guard Josh Richardson, small forward Tobias Harris, power forward Al Horford and center Joel Embiid.

The Celtics will likely throw out newly acquired players Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter alongside Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward and Jayson Tatum on the wing.

The Sixers re-signed forward Harris in the offseason while parting ways with All-Star swingman Jimmy Butler in a four-team sign-and-trade with the Miami Heat. From the Heat, they received 25-year-old wing Richardson. Philly also snatched from the Celtics to strengthen its frontcourt alongside All-NBA center Embiid.
