During the closing seconds of Game 2 between the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers, Joel Embiid was seen exchanging some words with Nick Nurse.

Of course things appeared a bit heated, with Nurse seemingly explaining something to Embiid. It doesn't look like they were exchanging pleasantries, too, based on their reactions.

Naturally during his postgame presser, Nick Nurse was asked about that interaction with the Sixers big man. He didn't go into too much detail, but he did share a rather tongue-in-cheek response.

“(Embiid) said, ‘I'm gonna keep making all my free throws if you keep fouling me,' and I said, ‘Well, you might have to,” the Raptors coach shared, per Tim Bontemps of ESPN.

It's easy to see where both sides are coming from. Joel Embiid is really difficult to stop, and so the Raptors have to be physical on him. With that said, fouling the Sixers center is unavoidable if they want to slow him down.

In their Game 2 showdown, Embiid finished with 31 points, 12 of which came from the free throw line. The Sixers superstar also had a game-high 11 rebounds as they dominated the glass and took the W with a 112-97 win.

Everyone would have certainly loved to know what else Embiid and Nurse said to each other. After all, it surely looks there is more to the conversation. Hopefully, JoJo can give more details if Nurse doesn't want to.
