Boston Celtics Hall of Famer Robert Parish was the latest to give his two cents on the obvious conditioning issues of Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid.

The Cameroonian looked clearly fatigued upon his return from injury and struggled with his efficiency, especially during his Eastern Conference semifinals matchup with the Celtics.

Asked how he'd defend Embiid, The Chief nonchalantly singled out his poor conditioning.

“Run his jock strap off, for starters, because he’s not in shape,” Parish said during an interview on SiriusXM Radio. “I would make him play defense and run his jock strap off every chance I got. By the fourth quarter, he’d be drained. Trust me on that.”

Embiid's sheer skillset presents a problem for most NBA centers, but the duo of Al Horford and Aron Baynes didn't have many issues keeping him under control due to being in late-season form, able to run up and down and keep him busy at both ends of the floor.

The 7-footer not only struggled from the foul line in the postseason but shot under 50 percent from the field in five of his eight games, mustering a combined 27.6 percent from deep during his first playoff stint.

While Parish's days didn't see the type of up-and-down game the NBA boasts now, his opinion sounds strong, as one of the best ever at the center position.
