Ben Simmons wants out of the Philadelphia 76ers, and if that is not yet clear enough, his agent Rich Paul reportedly said they will do everything they can just to get out of their situation with the Sixers.

According to former NBA player and current ESPN analyst Jay Williams, Paul told him that they have not intention of bringing Simmons back to Philly after everything that happened.

“This has been an ongoing issue within Philly,” Williams said on Bart & Hahn, via Bleacher Report. “I talked to Rich Paul, and Rich Paul was the one who told me, ‘We want out. We want out. And we'll go to whatever degree we have to go to in order to get out. We want to be anywhere but in Philadelphia.'”

While it's no longer a surprise considering all the reports about Ben Simmons refusing to report to training camp and even denying a meeting with his Sixers teammates, Rich Paul's comments just shows how deep the issue is. Simply put, the power agent is saying there is no longer a way for them to fix the relationship and all Philly can do is trade the Aussie playmaker to end the drama.

Of course Simmons is at a disadvantage considering that he's still under contract with the Sixers. Nonetheless, money aside, the holdout also puts Philly in a tricky position since Simmons' value for the team decreases day by day as he continues to show his desire to leave no matter what.

Simmons feels Joel Embiid, Doc Rivers and the rest of the Sixers threw him under the bus after their shocking exit in the second round of the 2021 playoffs. Now, he's firm on his decision to find a new team.

It's still unknown how things will pan out between Simmons and Philly, but it sure looks like it might take some more time before it is resolved.
