Jimmy Butler is taking it easy in the lead up to his first foray into unrestricted free agency.

The Philadelphia 76ers star and noted soccer fan is in Brazil this week to take in the 2019 Copa America, a quadrennial international men's soccer tournament. Given his well-known fandom of Brazil striker Neymar, it should come as no surprise that Butler took some time to paint a portrait of his favorite footballer. Still, one would have assumed someone with Butler's keen hand-eye coordination and overall stylistic flair might have been able to muster a more accurate portrayal of Neymar than this.

Good job, good effort.

Butler traveled to France in August of last year to meet Neymar after weeks of dropping not-so-subtle hints of his desire to do so on social media. The superstar pair enjoyed a night out on the town in Paris, with both documenting their fun for the masses via Instagram and Twitter.

Butler is poised to be one of the most highly sought after players in the league when free agency opens the evening of June 30. Though the Sixers have maintained their desire to retain Butler ever since trading for him last November, the team also has Tobias Harris' free agency to deal with, and that's before considering what to do with J.J. Redick. If Philadelphia brings all three players back at market value, it will vault into the luxury tax next season before accounting for a lucrative extension for Ben Simmons next year.

Good on Jimmy Butler for enjoying his time away from basketball. In barely more than a week, his life will be far more complicated.
