Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid had a nightmarish performance in Game 2 of their playoff series against the Toronto Raptors. Of course, that was due to the fact that the Sixers big man was suffering from a stomach ailment that limited his mobility and affected his endurance.

Fast-forward to Thursday night and Embiid looked like a totally different player. With his illness completely eviscerated, Embiid turned his attention to dismantling the Toronto Raptors.

The Sixers led for most of the game, but they didn’t begin to pour it on until the fourth quarter, when Embiid threw down an astonishing dunk.

As you can see, Joel Embiid employs his pump fake to beautiful effect before blowing by his committed defender. With no Raptors defender willing to get in the way of the runaway freight train that is Embiid, JoJo was able to uncork a sterling windmill jam.

After the dunk, Embiid was elated and performed the “airplane” celebration before zooming to the other end of the court and imploring the crowd to cheer.

As expected, the Wells Fargo Center crowd obliges boisterously as the Sixers put away the Raptors. Perhaps Embiid was getting revenge for Pascal Siakam tripping him up, but whatever the reason, Embiid played his best playoff game in Game 3. Let's hope it's the first of many.
