Philadelphia 76ers forward Wilson Chandler made a game-saving block on San Antonio Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan on Wednesday night. There were just seconds left in the game when Chandler locked him up and blocked him from behind to seal the game.

So far this season, Chandler has been an excellent pick up for the Sixers. He provides depth at both the three and the four. He has averaged 26.2 minutes, 6.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game so far this season. Chandler is shooting 44.1 percent from the field and 38.6 percent from deep. He doesn't need the ball in his hands to make an impact, which is huge for the Sixers.

On the other hand, DeRozan is a huge reason why the Spurs are able to win games. He was involved in the deal this past offseason that sent Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green to the Toronto Raptors for Jakob Poetl and DeRozan. This worked out perfectly for the Spurs, as they've utilized his midrange shot extremely well.

His pick-and-roll with LaMarcus Aldridge is one of the best offensive plays in the league. The Spurs suffer tremendously when they aren't on the court together. They work off each other so well.

So far this season DeRozan is averaging 21.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 17.5 percent from beyond the arc. He's taking less and less threes under head coach Popovich as he's discouraged that. His game has been focused on taking shots that he's comfortable with.
