Christian Eriksen has received the chance to revive his footballing career after a scary collapse at Euro 2020 just a number of months ago. According to Jay Harris of The Athletic, the Dane is in talks with Premier League newcomers Brentford on a six-month deal with the option for a full year.

The midfielder recently agreed to terminate his contract with Inter Milan after it was revealed that he couldn't suit up in Serie A anymore due to Italy's health regulations because he is fitted with a defibrillator. Of course, Christian Eriksen had the entire globe praying for him last summer after the scary scenes in Copenhagen. Thankfully, he was resuscitated and has been on the mend since.

The Danish international made it clear that he's poised to represent his country in this year's World Cup in Qatar, but first, playing for another club would be absolutely necessary. A move back to the Premier League is a dream for Eriksen as well, who became a fan favorite during his seven seasons at Tottenham.

Brentford would represent an interesting opportunity for Christian Eriksen. They're an extremely new club to the English top-flight and should certainly benefit from having a player of Eriksen's caliber join their team. Nothing is set in stone yet, but this seems like the perfect chance for the 29-year-old to help the Bees and earn himself a spot on Denmark again.
