Christian Eriksen has received the chance to revive his footballing career after a scary collapse at Euro 2020 just a number of months ago. According to Jay Harris of The Athletic, the Dane is in talks with Premier League newcomers Brentford on a six-month deal with the option for a full year.

The midfielder recently agreed to terminate his contract with Inter Milan after it was revealed that he couldn't suit up in Serie A anymore due to Italy's health regulations because he is fitted with a defibrillator. Of course, Christian Eriksen had the entire globe praying for him last summer after the scary scenes in Copenhagen. Thankfully, he was resuscitated and has been on the mend since.

A move back to the Premier League is a dream for Eriksen as well, who became a fan favorite during his seven seasons at Tottenham.
Brentford would represent an interesting opportunity for Christian Eriksen. They're an extremely new club to the English top-flight and should certainly benefit from having a player of Eriksen's caliber join their team. Nothing is set in stone yet, but this seems like the perfect chance for the 29-year-old to help the Bees and earn himself a spot on Denmark again.
