The USMNT is set to take the field for a friendly matchup against Morocco on Wednesday night. The international friendly, which will kick off at 7:30 p.m. EST from TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, will be Gregg Berhalter's first chance to see his side in action since clinching a ticket to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar back in March. World Cup roster spots could be up for grabs in the upcoming matches, and Berhalter revealed his starting XI for the clash against Morocco on Wednesday.

In goal for the USMNT will be 27-year-old Matt Turner, who plays for New England Revolution but has plans to join Premier League side Arsenal next season. The defensive backline will consist of Reggie Cannon, Walker Zimmermann, Aaron Long, and Antonee Robinson.
The midfield will feature the likes of Tyler Adams, Brenden Aaronson, and Yunus Musah, all of whom play their club soccer in Europe. Adams is currently a star CDM for RB Leipzig, while Aaronson just left RB Salzburg on a massive deal to join Leeds United in the Premier League. Musah has been a regular for Valencia in La Liga.
Berhalter's wingers for Wednesday's showdown will be Timothy Weah and Captain America himself, Christian Pulisic. Meanwhile Jesus Ferreira slots in at striker for the USMNT.
This is a formidable lineup for the Americans as they look to deliver a strong performance against Hakim Ziyech, Acrhaf Hakimi, and the rest of the Morocco squad.
The USMNT substitutes for Wednesday include the following: Sean Johnson, DeAndre Yedlin, Paul Arriola, Weston McKennie, Erik Palmer-Brown, Luca de la Torre, Cristian Roldan, Malik Tillman, Haji Wright, Cameron Carter-Vickers, George Bello, and Joe Scally.
Pulisic is the most experienced player in this matchup for the USMNT, leading his teammates with 49 international caps throughout his career.
