The Phoenix Suns pulled off a comfortable 14-point victory over the San Antonio Spurs, but Dejounte Murray still left the opponents impressed.

Suns guards Devin Booker and Chris Paul were nothing but complimentary of the Spurs guard after the game, showing the respect that Dejounte Murray has garnered amid his breakout season.

Via Spurs:

“The thing I like the most about Dejounte is he's not just a one way guy,” said Chris Paul. “He plays both ways. He's going to defend, he can score, he can do it all. He's a leader, and he's going to continue to get better and better.”

Booker powered the Suns to the win, pouring in an eye-popping 48 points on the evening as the Spurs simply couldn't stop him. But even he was vocal on what he's seen from the development of Dejounte Murray.

“He has that confidence and he plays the game the right way,” said Booker on his Spurs counterpart. “He's shooting the ball better than he ever has. He just asserts himself in so many different ways so it makes it tough on the opponent.”

Dejounte Murray is averaging career highs in scoring, rebounds, assists and steal. But it's the newfound poise he's found as the Spurs' top guy that's been the most impressive aspect of his growth this season – and clearly the rest of the NBA is taking notice.
