The act of swapping jerseys has become a post-game culture in the NBA this season. Fans have seen players from this generation ask future Hall of Famers Dirk Nowitzki, Dwyane Wade, and Vince Carter to exchange jerseys with them. It is now a tradition that symbolizes appreciation and respect. But for San Antonio Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge, it is also a symbol of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Aldridge, 33, was asked who he would like to swap jerseys with after the All-Star Game.

He had a surprising answer.

Aldridge was teammates with Damian Lillard when he was still with the Portland Trail Blazers. However, there were speculations that the two All-Stars weren't getting along, which eventually led to LaMarcus' departure from the franchise.

The Spurs signed Aldridge to a multi-year deal back in 2015, while Lillard found a new partner with the Blazers in CJ McCollum.

For years, there have been no reports as to whether or not Aldridge and Lillard have resolved their misunderstandings, until this year. Both players have reportedly apologized to each other for their actions that led to their break-up as cornerstones of the Blazers.

Aldridge will be playing for Team Giannis, while Lillard will be suiting up for Team LeBron in the upcoming All-Star Game on Sunday.

After the game, we will see if the swapping of jerseys will take place between the two former teammates.

Now that the dust has been settled between the two, could a reunion take place in the near future?

A big three of Aldridge, Lillard, and McCollum sounds intriguing, don't you think?
