Following a hard-fought five-game series loss at the hands of the Golden State Warriors, Manu Ginobili will once again evaluate his future with the San Antonio Spurs in the summer.

The 40-year-old Argentinian showed he still had plenty left in the tank through his exciting play in the postseason but will make this a family decision, as he did in 2017, deciding to come back.

“I've been contemplating retirement forever,” joked Ginobili. “Nothing's change. I just don't know.”

“I'll let a month, two months go by and then I'll see how I feel. I'm not the type of guy that makes decisions on the fly when you're upset, hurt, or whatever. I usually let it sink in and see how it feels.”

Ginobili signed a humble two-year, $5 million contract with the San Antonio Spurs last year and could honor it fully by making 2018-19 his 17th and last season in the league.

The 6-foot-6 wizard dropped 10 points, five rebounds, and seven assists in a losing effort in Game 5, a night where the Spurs' shots just weren't falling.

Having played all of his years with the Spurs after being drafted 57th overall in 1999, then stashed overseas until his debut season in 2002, Ginobili has posted career averages of 13.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.
