The San Antonio Spurs are just the sixth seventh-seed in NBA history to force a Game 7 against a second-seed in the playoffs, according to Jordan Howenstine of the Spurs PR department.

Game 7 between the Spurs and Denver Nuggets is on Saturday in Denver.

The Spurs won Game 1 in Denver, but lost Games 2 and 5 in the Mile-High City. The winner of this series will face the Portland Trail Blazers in the second round.

For the Spurs to win Game 7 on the road, they will need big games from power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, small forwards DeMar DeRozan and Rudy Gay, as well as shooting guard Derrick White. San Antonio has the more experienced roster, so they won't be fazed by the pressure that comes with a do-or-die postseason matchup.

The Spurs have to find a way to slow down Nuggets star big man Nikola Jokic, who went off for 43 points and 12 rebounds in Game 6. Jokic is averaging 23.5 points, 11.7 rebounds and 9.0 assists in the series while shooting 52.5 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from beyond the arc and 89.3 percent from the free-throw line.

There's nothing better in sports than a Game 7. The atmosphere in Denver is going to be electric. Let's see which teams comes out on top.
