The dust has barely settled on what was an ultimately disappointing 2019-20 campaign for the San Antonio Spurs, but there's already speculation that DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge could find themselves on the trade block this offseason.

Jabari Young of CNBC says DeRozan is likely going to pick up his $27.7 million player option. While San Antonio could build around him, the franchise may also look to trade him. An agent told Young to be on the lookout for a possible trade to the Miami Heat because of DeRozan's relationship with Jimmy Butler.

DeRozan might be the third star the Heat need to be a real threat in the East next season. They are considered dark horses right now, and their impressive sweep of the Indiana Pacers in the first round proves testament to this fact. Bringing in DeRozan next season would make this team even more formidable.

As for Aldridge, he reportedly was involved in trade rumors before this past deadline, but the Spurs “overplayed their hand.” If San Antonio looks to shop Aldridge again, an agent told Young not to count out a return to the Portland Trail Blazers to reunite with Damian Lillard. Aldridge and Lillard have patched up their relationship, and the Blazers are desperate to add more around their star point guard.

A major revamp could very well be on the horizon for the Spurs after their 22-year playoff streak came to an end. This could include the departure of head coach Gregg Popovich, though San Antonio is currently operating under the belief that he'll return.
