The San Antonio Spurs and their superstar Kawhi Leonard have a fractured relationship, but according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Spurs aren't entertaining trade offers for him, at least not yet.

A lot of teams in the league would like to get involved with trade talks with San Antonio. Those are not being entertained yet by the Spurs.

The Spurs can offer Leonard the supermax this offseason, which is worth $219 million, but for Leonard to accept that there is going to have to be some face to face meetings.

The two sides are going to have to meet and work out their differences, and see if they can make it work, or if it is time for both parties to move on.

Danny Green, who is close with Leonard, recently told the Japan Times that he expects Leonard to be back with the team next year. He also said that Leonard talked to him last year during the season, and wished he could have been out there with the team.

“They don’t run decisions by me in the front office. I don’t know if they offered him an extension or not. I don’t know if he’s taking it or not. Throughout the season we had our chats, we had our talks, he was working hard to come back. He wanted to be there for us and be there with us to play.

There is still a lot that can change, and more will probably be clear after the two parties meet face to face, but for now, it seems the plan is to have Leonard leading the Spurs again next season.
