The Starfield Release Date and Redfall Release Date have both been delayed by Bethesda to a date way beyond when we expected them to arrive.

Bethesda has just unceremoniously announced that the release dates for Redfall and Starfield will be coming out later than expected. That is, there both games have been delayed to the first half of 2023.

Starfield was supposed to come out this November 11, 2022. However, fans have rightfully questioned whether the game will actually be ready for launch by then. After all, Bethesda hasn't been quite keen on showing development progress and in-game footage as much as they usually would for their big projects. Lo and behold, the fans are right, and the game has been delayed to a first half 2023 release.

As for Redfall, the looter shooter zombie survival game was expected to come out this September. However, just like Starfield, we haven't seen much from Arkane since the game's announcement at E3 last year. With Deathloop being so polarizing when it was released earlier this year, perhaps Arkane is trying to be more careful with their next game.

For both games, Bethesda says the developers simply need more time to polish the game to reach the kind of quality that matches their ambitions for both titles. They did hint at the arrival of deep-dive gameplay videos for the games soon, however. By the time those videos do get released, we do hope that Bethesda would have more to show by then already so they won't worry fans so much about news of Starfield and Redfall getting delayed.
