The Tampa Bay Buccaneers notably hired former Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians as the team's next head coach with hopes of the veteran football mind turning things around in a hurry. With Arians already attempting to create a winning culture in Tampa Bay, he has added three former Pittsburgh Steelers players to his coaching staff.

Former wide receiver Antwaan Randle El is the team’s assistant receivers coach, former quarterback Byron Leftwich is Arians' offensive coordinator and former linebacker Larry Foote is Tampa Bay's outside linebackers coach. Of course, Arians previously served as an assistant coach with the Steelers and helped lead the franchise to a Super Bowl title during his time in Pittsburgh.

“I’m still looking,” Arians recently said of Randle El's energy, via Greg Auman of The Athletic. “The hard work is there. You see guys getting after it, but it’s a different type of energy that I haven’t quite seen yet. Maybe that comes down the road in minicamp we have coming up, but the work ethic is there, and you can see it building. You need two, three, five guys that have that energy that filters to everybody else.”

Unfortunately for Arians and his staff, the Buccaneers will more than likely remain in the cellar of the NFC South division with the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons and especially the New Orleans Saints all expected to be quite competitive in 2019. Not only that, but the lowly Buccaneers have not reached the playoffs since all the way back in 2007.
