It's a bitter pill to swallow for Pittsburgh Steelers fans as they saw their team lose a close battle against the Seattle Seahawks. However, JuJu-Smith Schuster at least gave them something to smile about on their way home, a story which relates to Randy Moss.

The NFL confirmed that the highly touted wideout has made NFL history, beating one of the greatest wideouts to ever play gridiron football.

Smith-Schuster is 22 years and 297 days old when he made the incredible reception record. He managed to beat Hall of Famer Randy Moss by a mere 13 days.

It was predicted days before the contest that JuJu Smith-Schuster will be able to break the record if he manages to get on the field. After all, he got 78 receiving yards during the Steelers' horrible loss to the New England Patriots.

He gained 84 yards on five receptions this game, barely getting over the required number of receiving yards to get the record. While he could have waited for Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers, he attained the record.

One particular highlight was the flea-flicker that saw Mason Rudolph connect with JuJu Smith-Schuster. It was a beautiful pass by Rudolph to a speeding Smith-Schuster for a superb 45-yard catch.

However, the record would have been better if the Steelers manage to complement that with a win. Roethlisberger had to leave the game in the first half due to an elbow injury. While Rudolph did well replacing Big Ben, they surely missed his passing and leadership.

The Seahawks eventually managed to get things around in the second half and win a tough away game. Things may have ended differently if Big Ben was on the field to celebrate Smith-Schuster's accomplishment with him, though.
