Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin isn't afraid to make a move if his team needs it to win. There might be one coming on the horizon based on his recent comments about the Steelers' current situation in the backfield.

Brooke Pryor from ESPN NFL Nation had two tweets from a media session that indicated Tomlin's pleasure with Warren's recent production.

“…when we were talking about a division of labor and who's done what and who's done well, I know that was a topic of discussion and very evident in our tape review.”

Pryor quote tweeted the original tweet with a follow up quote from Tomlin.

“He's playing and so obviously he's healthy enough to play. I'll let him speak to that, but both guys have been available to us. We've gotten some awesome contributions from Jaylen and it's reasonable to expect that to continue.”

Harris went to the Pro Bowl in 2021 but has struggled mightily this season. He is averaging 3.3 yards per carry and hasn't topped 74 yards rushing in any game in 2022. Meanwhile, undrafted rookie out of Oklahoma State has impressed the Steelers this season. He is averaging 5.28 yards per carry and recently racked up 50 yards on the ground on six carries.

Mike Tomlin and the Steelers could use a boost on offense. They currently stand at 2-6 and first round draft pick Kenny Pickett has thrown two touchdowns to eight interceptions. The rookie started off the year behind Mitchell Trubisky, who signed a two-year deal with the Steeler, but hasn't been able to ignite the offense.
