The Pittsburgh Steelers are still continuing the process of shopping for potential trades for their disgruntled running back Le'Veon Bell. Bell has still not reported to the team because of contract disputes and there are no indication he will be back to play for them any time soon.

One trade the Steelers might want to pursue involves the Seattle Seahawks' safety Earl Thomas. Thomas has been putting up monster numbers in the first three games of the season, albeit being unhappy with Seahawks' management as well.

In an article from Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports:

The Steelers would also be open to swapping their disgruntled running back for Seattle's Earl Thomas, who has asked for a trade and clashed with management in Seattle, but sources said there has been no contact between those teams to this point.

If the trade happens, it will surely have a significant impact on both the NFC and AFC as it will surely benefit both teams.

With Bell, the Seahawks will get a more than reliable option for their run game, something they have been missing since they traded Marshawn Lynch to the Oakland Raiders. Bell was third in the NFL last year in rushing yards with 1291 yards.

For the Steelers, Thomas will be a game-changer for their defensive unit which has been subpar so far this season as they are 29th in the league in yards given up per game. Partner that with their high-powered offense led by Antonio Brown, and it makes them a Super Bowl contender.
