The arch-rival Baltimore Ravens quickly became one of the best teams in the entire NFL in 2019 while the Pittsburgh Steelers were ultimately forced to watch from home come playoff time. However, despite a slew of injuries on both sides of the football, the heralded AFC North franchise remained competitive through Week 17 of the 2019-20 regular season.
Not only that but the Steelers defense, in particular, produced some stellar plays that will surely help this unit progress come next season. It is also worth noting that the Steelers defense led the league in takeaways this past season.

Despite the fact that the typically dominant Steelers were unable to secure a postseason berth this time around, the future remains bright in Pittsburgh ā especially on the defensive side of the football. With the likes of pass rusher T.J. Watt and defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick in place, the Steelers will continue to serve as a dangerous force on defense for years to come.
