Stephen Curry has been out of the playoffs ever since injuring his MCL in his knew after slipping in Game 4 against the Houston Rockets. Curry was expected to miss a couple weeks of action due to this injury and will have to sit out at least a couple of games against the Portland Trail Blazers. However, after Saturday’s Warriors practice, Steve Kerr revealed some great news on Steph Curry.
After the Saturday session, coach Steve Kerr said:
“There wasn’t a lot of movement; there was some. He’s progressing well. Obviously, he won’t play (in Game 1). We need to get him on the court. Before he’s going to play in a game, he has to be on the floor in 5-on-5 situations, which means it’s pretty slim he’ll be out there for Game 2.”
Steve Kerr says Steph Curry continues to progress, did some light standup shooting drills on Saturday.
