The stray cat wakes up in jail, but escapes. You're now stuck at the train station. In this Stray Guide, we teach you how to leave Midtown.

Stray Guides – Chapter 11 Jail: How to fix the Train and Leave Midtown

After a very intense prison break, you now have the opportunity to escape the city and continue your journey to “The Outside.” But you're now inside the train, on the driver's seat, but you can't seem to make it run. What's the problem?

Well, if you remember the Atomic Battery that you stole from the factory earlier, the authorities who caught you seemingly weren't interested in getting it back. So, you still have it in your inventory. To fix the train and leave Midtown, follow these steps:

  1. Take the Atomic Battery down the tunnels and back to where you entered Midtown for the first time.
  2. Going down the steps, you should notice a pipe laid down on the ground. Follow it to a machine panel installed on the walls of the tunnels.
  3. You should find a cavity where you can place the Atomic Battery. Placing it there will turn the lights on, and bring power back to the train station.
  4. Head back to the train station and head to the driver's seat.
  5. Use the Train Key you received earlier to activate the train.

Now, you're on your merry way away from Midtown to who knows what's coming next. You go through a very dark tunnel, but don't worry, you're not alone. You're about to reach the end of your journey, and B-12 is still with you, your companion for the whole journey. Just a little more and you'll finally reach “The Outside.”

At this point, you might want to go back to the previous chapters first in case you missed some of the collectibles from them. It always feels nice to get a Platinum right after the credits roll, so here's your chance to do that.
